Mr. Marvin Platt, 68
Mr. Marvin Platt was born Nov. 8, 1954, and made his departure Feb. 10 at Hospice Satilla House in Waycross. He was the son of Alberta Martha King Platt and Frank Platt. Marvin was raised only knowing the love of family and friends.
During life Marvin attended Patterson High School, was the first graduate of the Harrell Learning Center in Waycross and attended Bacon County and Ware County Unison Behavioral Health Center. His favorite time was playing for The Miracle League of the Okefenokee in Waycross.
Marvin was proceeded in death by his mother Alberta Platt, father Frank Platt, brothers James Platt, Jimmy Platt, Martin Platt, Lloyd Lee, (Big) Johnny Platt and Oden Lee and niece Flossie Henderson.
He leaves behind his siblings (Little) Johnny Platt (Hattie), Lillie Mae Wilcox (who was raised like a sister); nieces Lynn, Martha and Latrelle Platt, Chandra Platt Kydd (Matthew); nephews James Platt Jr., Frank Platt, Johnny Platt Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
Marvin has some very Awesome, Amazing, and Special caregivers. Mr. Tobias Wilcox, Mrs. Tammy Thrift, and Mrs. April Robinson.

His funeral was Feb. 19 at Union Chapel Church, Mershon.
Interment was at Union Chapel Church Cemetery, Mershon.
