Mr. Bobby Roy Culberson, 73

Mr. Bobby Roy Culberson was born Feb. 15, 1948, in Jeff Davis County. He was the son of the late Ruby and Johnny L. Bennett. He departed this life Jan. 19.
Bobby was affectionately known as “Big Bobby” to many. He was a hard-working man that took care of his family. He was a member of Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church. He loved his church. Bobby was a jack of all trades. He held a variety of jobs. He attended Hazlehurst Elementary and High School.
Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Harmon Culberson, his daughter Delta K. Culberson and his parents, Ruby, and Johnny L. Bennett.
He leaves to cherish his memories his grandchildren Nadeah (Shaniqua) Culberson and Charief Culberson; sisters Johnnie M. Bennett, Evangelist Jeanette (Prophet James) Hill and Bobby Boyd; nephews Juan and Christopher Bennett, Jashen Hill, Nikoe Hudson, Tyrone (Ericka) Bennett and Leceddrick Mitchell; nieces Nykia Wooten and Christie Stegall; aunts and uncles Pastor Sammy (Bernice) Bennett, Irene Bennett, Vera Hall, Ollie Harris, Wardene Carter, Larry Phillips, Lula Harmon, Lizzie Harmon, Lisa (Dennis) Drone, Connie Clements, Zonnie McMillan, Rosie Hansley, Elder Eddie (Helen) Harmon, Buddy Harmon, and Freddie (Veronica) Harmon.
Bobby also has children that he had a hand in raising, Minister Daniella (Minister Edwin) Williams, Patrick (Lutwinda) Moore, and Apostle Troy (Pastor Carmela) Williams; a godchild Crystal Smith; special friends Tim Dotson, Gary Williams, Angela Mincey, and Rosetta Williams; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Services were held Jan. 28 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church with interment at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Hazlehurst.
King Brothers Funeral Home was in charge.
