Miss Alice Patricia ‘Patsy’ Dominy, 77

Miss Alice Patricia (Patsy) Dominy, 77, of Hazlehurst, passed away at her residence.
Patsy was born Aug. 23, 1945, in Dublin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Alton Wilbur Dominy and Mrs. Viola Fellows Dominy, her brothers, Edwin (Bud) Dominy, Taylor Dominy, and Carl Mac Dominy, and her sister, Faye Dominy Butler.
Years ago, Patsy worked alongside her brothers, Taylor and Stump Dominy in their family-owned Pharmacy, known as Medical Arts. She worked there for many years as their bookkeeper.
Later in life, she became employed with Walmart, then formally retired a few years ago, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. Patsy was a quiet and gentle soul and will be missed by all.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert (Stump) and Wanda Dominy of Hazlehurst; sister-in-law, Patsy Dominy of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held later.
