Coleman James Bohannon, 10

Coleman James Bohannon, 10, of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta after an extended illness of leukemia.
Coleman was born to Mr. James Darren Bohannon and Mrs. Lisa Allagood Bohannon of Hazlehurst.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Dewitt Bohannon, and maternal grandfather Dewitt Allagood.
Coleman loved listening to Waylon Jennings. He was a bright, loving, young man and loved being a good ol’ boy. He was a big country music fan and loved fishing. Coleman was a cowboy through and through.
His father says, “He was the toughest guy I knew. Through it all, he remained strong.” He also enjoyed watching the Avengers and Marvel comics.
Survivors include his parents, James and Lisa Bohannon, sisters, Sarah Allagood, Cristy Bohannon, Jessie Bohannon, grandmother, Clara Mae Allagood, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A graveside service was held Jan. 14 at Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Bohannon, the Rev. Jinker Horton, and the Rev. Alan Stalvey officiated.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
