Mrs. Eula Mae Drawdy, 85

Mrs. Eula Mae Drawdy, 85, of Hazlehurst passed away Jan. 6 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Ms. Drawdy was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Baxley to the late William Horace Yarbrough and the late Minnie Lee Hall Yarbrough. She was a retired secretary for the engineering department of Amoco Fabrics. She was a member of Hazlehurst Church of God and attended Lighthouse Christian Fellowship for the last several years. Ms. Drawdy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her family immensely. She was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and Savior and loved to attend church and give praise and worship to Him. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Drawdy; brothers, Odis Yarbrough, Frank Yarbrough, and Francis Yarbrough; sisters, Ina Ruth Yarbrough, Mary Cason, and Shirley Sellers; and former husband, Jack Drawdy.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Pam) Drawdy; daughter-in-law, Jennie Drawdy; grandson, R. Jay (Desiree) Drawdy; and great grandsons, Jace and Drake Drawdy.
Services were held Jan. 9 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship with Pastor Tyrone Hutchinson and Pastor Virginia Herrington officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were R. Jay Drawdy, James Yarbrough, Larry Yarbrough, Leon Hutcheson, Harvey Eason, and Ryan Yarbrough.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Lumber City Nursing Home, Regency Southern Care Hospice and all in attendance.
Music was rendered by Terry Hester.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
