Ms. Lorrie Trice Hutson, 57
Ms. Lorrie Trice Hutson, 57, of Denton, passed away Nov. 3 at Coffee Regional Hospital in Douglas.
Ms. Hutson was born in Douglas, Aug. 7, 1965.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Earl Trice and Allene Cox Trice, and husband, Jay Hutson, sister, Linda Burch, and brothers, David Walls, John Walls, and Edward Dean Trice.
Ms. Hutson worked as city council clerk of Denton for many years, taught music lessons at home and at Taylor Music, and loved her part-time job as a Mary K Consultant, and director. She also founded destiny advocate services. She loved spending time with family and most of all her grandchildren. She attended Macedonia Church of God and Denton Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Michael Hutson (Rebecca) of Broxton, Matthew Hutson of Waycross, fiance’, Melvin Vierra, of Waycross; brother, Kendall Walls of Patterson; sisters Mary Powell (David) of Denton, Gewanda Bryant of Glenwood; grandchildren Logan Hutson and Addie Hutson.
Services were held Nov. 7 at Macedonia Church of God, in Denton with the Rev. Van McCall and the Rev. Randall Kersey officiating. Interment followed in Denton Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Wayne Davis, Shawn Folk, Gabriel Folk, Wilbur Dykes, John Dykes, and Bobby Miller.
Music was rendered by Angie McCall, Bobbie Davis, Wayne Davis, and Darrell Wright.
