Mr. Kenneth Clinton ‘Ken’ Hurly, 61

Mr. Kenneth Clinton “Ken” Hurley, 61, of Snipesville passed away Oct. 19 from injuries sustained in automobile accident.
Mr. Hurley was born June 25, 1961, in Coffee County and was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and formerly employed at Hazlehurst Pellet Mill. Mr. Hurley was an avid fisherman and hunter and had a giving heart, always giving to others and was a Georgia Bulldog fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Kenneth Hurley.
Survivors include his daughter, Kellie (Josh) Hollingsworth of Carrolton; son, Kacey (Brittany) Hurley of Hazlehurst; mother, Wanda Ramsey Hurley of Snipesville; sister, Sharon (Dane) Ussery of Hazlehurst; brother, Wayne (Alena) Hurley of Snipesville; grandchildren, Kenley Hurley, Noah McNeal, Emma Hollingsworth and Addilyn Hollingsworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Oct. 23 at Union Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Van McCall and a eulogy by Sharon Ussery. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were John Faulk, Jeremy Adams, Matt Kirkland, Brad Rish, Levi Robbins and Chris Parlor.
In lieu of flowers donations in his honor may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
