Mr. George Morris Clifton, 70

Mr. George Morris Clifton, 70, of Hazlehurst, died at his residence Dec. 25.
Mr. Clifton was born Oct. 7, 1952, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Clifton and Frankie Jeanette Morris Clifton.
He retired from Husquvarna and attended Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
He was truly an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a family man, loved his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them. He will truly be missed as a loving, husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie Snelgrove Clifton of Hazlehurst; daughters, Lisa (Carey) McDaniel of Hahira, Sabrina (Wesley) Cleveland of Hazlehurst, Melinda (Rev. Ryan) Clements of Hazlehurst, and Tabitha (Kevin) Mathis of Hazlehurst; son, Phillip (Kasey) Rentz of Hazlehurst; sister, Gail Durden of Hazlehurst; 10 grandchildren; and several cousins.
Graveside services were held Dec. 28 at noon at Palms Memorial Garden with the Rev. Ryan Clements officiating.
All family and friends, in attendance, served as honorary pallbearers.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
