Ms. Eunice Stone Clements, 90
Ms. Eunice Stone Clements, 90, of Hazlehurst, passed away Sept. 13 at the Pavillon. Ms. Clements was born Aug. 4, 1932, in McRae.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamar Stone, and Ossie Ray Stone, husband Julian Clements, brothers Douglas (Duck) Stone, Richard Stone, and sisters Ramal Short and Sue Hullette.
During her life, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, sewing, playing cards and driving the school bus. Ms. Clements loved her family and taking care of them for any reason she needed to, but most of all she loved traveling with the love of her life Julian Clements, and spending time with family and her grandchildren.
Survivors include son Phil Clements (Tina) of Hazlehurst; daughters Evelyn Sellers of North Carolina, and Betty Courson of Hazlehurst; brothers Charles Stone and Akridge Stone; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Sept. 16 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment followed at Clements Cemetery in Telfair County.
Pallbearers were Richard Stone, Michael Stone, Boe Stone, KJ Courson, Sammy Perry, and Donald Ray Craddock.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
