Mrs. Judy Powell Sellers, 72

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for Mrs. Judy Powell Sellers, 72, who passed away Sept. 2.
She Was born in McRae to the late Carl Powell and Virginia Powell. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Homer Sellers, and brother;= Mike Powell.
Ms. Sellers retired from the Jeff Davis County Commissioner’s office. During her free time Ms. Sellers enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, camping, and working outside in her flower gardens, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by sons Bo (Cindy) Powell of McRae and Brian Sellers of Hazlehurst; sister Brenda Powell of Hazlehurst; grandchildren Brandon Powell, Kristen Powell, Hayli (Tyler) Sellers, Emily Powell, Gracie Sellers; step-children David Sellers and family, Rhonda Sellers and family; great-grandchildren SaraBeth Powell, Josie Sellers, Mila Sellers, and Ella Sellers.
Services will be Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with the Rev. Keith Yawn and Jimmy Ryles officiating.
