Ms. Pat Grimes Bush, 78

Ms. Pat Grimes Bush, 78, of Hazlehurst, died June 1 at her residence.
Ms. Bush was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by, husband, Jessie Ezra Bush, her parents, William Peyton Grimes and Margie Stapleton Grimes, sister, Betty Jean Nash and sister-in-law, Deborah Grimes. She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
She enjoyed going to church, spending time with family, going to the Senior Citizen Center and loved the outdoors.
Survivors include her sons, William Gregory and Rebecca Bush of Hazlehurst, Mark Anthony and Teresa Bush of Hazlehurst and Kenneth Alan Bush of Hazlehurst; brother, Edward William Grimes of Hazlehurst; sister, Elaine and David Hall of Bainbridge; brother-in-law, J.T. Nash of Hazlehurst; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 6 at Oakland Baptist Church with the Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearer was Jason Ezra’Lee Bush.
Active pallbearers were Seth Bush, Adrian Bush, Caleb Tremaine, Eric Busbee, Zayden Whitfield Bush and Jacob Whitfield Bush.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
