Mr. James Timmy Rewis, 61

Mr. James Timmy Rewis, 61, of Hazlehurst died May 4 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Mr. Rewis was born Aug. 12, 1960, in Bacon County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenberry Rewis and Willie Mae Music Rewis, and wife, Linda Cain Rewis. He was a native of Jeff Davis County, truck driver and heavy equipment operator. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, eating out, and helping others, most of all spending time with his family. He was a dedicated loving father.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Nicole Brannon (C.C.) of Baxley; son, Chris (Kristi) Bohannon of Hazlehurst; brother, Jimmy Rewis (Montene) of Baxley; sisters, Faye Crews (Stephen) of Brunswick, Tammy Rewis (Stevie) of Alma and Mary Bohannon (David) of Alma; grandchildren, Jax Brannon of Baxley and Christopher Bohannon of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews .
Graveside services were held May 6 at Satilla Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Colter officiating.
Active pallbearers were Andy Edge, Chris Bohannon, Matt Hyers and Stevie Taylor.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
