Mr. Don Ellis, 72

Mr. Don Ellis, 72, of Glennville passed away May 22 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Kinderd Hospice.
He was born in Hazlehurst June 22, 1949, to Everett and Geraldine Horne Ellis and lived in Hazlehurst and Glennville most of his life. He was employed with Hazlehurst Mills for many years and was owner and operator of P.W. Tire. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and was a loving caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kent and Glenn Ellis.
He is survived by, wife, Sylvia Ellis of Glennville; children, Don Ellis, Phillip Ellis, Amy Ellis Rogers (John) all of Hazlehurst, Michelle Bruce (Kasey) and Rachael Evans both of Glennville; sister, Diane Ellis Towns (Jerry) of Cochran; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Loretta Proctor, Debbie Stubbs, Lisa Lester and the Chris Wiggins family.
Celebration of Life Service will be held June 18 at his residence, 125 Lacy Driggers Road, Glennville, GA 30427
