Mrs. Mildred Sharpe Brue, 82
Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for Mrs. Mildred Sharpe Brue, 82, of Warner Robins, who passed away March 25.
Services will be at 1 p.m., March 30, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 31 Plum Street Hazlehurst.
President Jim Martin will officiate with burial in Fishing Creek Cemetery in Lumber City.
Mrs. Brue was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Millen. She was the daughter of the late Lois Mathis and Henry Grady Sharpe. On Nov. 24, 1960, she married Dan Roger Brue. During most of their married years they lived in Lumber City and Bainbridge.She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Sherri Brue; grandson Thomas West, and brothers Moroni, Charles, Cecil, and Billy Sharpe. Mrs. Brue enjoyed genealogy, shopping and jewelry.
Survivors include daughter Lisa Brue of Bainbridge; sons and daughter-in-law Dan Brue II (Dana) of Thomaston, Jeffery Brue (Sherryll) of Morven, Bobby Brue (Tina) of Hazlehurst, Eric Brue (Brandi) of Warner Robins, and Jason Brue of Warner Robins; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters Laura Pritchett, Margie Williams, and Melba Golden of Bainbridge.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Fishing Creek Baptist Cemetery Fund. Please take the donation to the Bank of Lumber City.
