Mrs. Jackie Elizabeth Eason Hall, 66

Celebration of life services for Mrs. Jackie Elizabeth Eason Hall, 66, who died March 18, were held March 25 at Harper Chapel UMC in Baxley with the Rev. Columbus Burns officiating. Words of comfort were delivered by Pastor Abra Lattany-Reed.
Mrs. Hall was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Hazlehurst to the late George and Lucille Fryer Eason. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death: Willie, Milton, Pecola, Lonnie, Betty, and George
During her life, she had many jobs, most of which enabled her to form relationships with people who became lifelong friends. One of her greatest accomplishments was when she became a licensed pharmacy technician. Jackie was heavily involved in church activities, most notably, as her grandson Caleb, used to say, “at the church paying God’s bills” at Harper Chapel United Methodist Church, where she served on the finance committee. She also donated to several charities and opened her home for many.
Later in life, Jackie met her devoted partner, Randy, and they enjoyed spending time together watching Mountain Man and westerns.
Survivors include her daughter, LaTosha; very special son-in-law Johnny; bonus daughters Nessie (Gerald) and Britney; grandchildren Caleb, Jerrica, and special granddaughter, Cayla Brown; great-grandchildren Cali, Cannon, Bailey, Arianna, Carmelo, and Brinsley; siblings Ronnie, Gloria, Charlie Joe, and Gwendolyn; godchildren Dominique, Austin, Tara, Kimberly, Whitney, Claudia, Jeronte’, and Michelle; very special cousins Tyler Rogers, Rev. Columbus and Zelene Burns; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A very special cousin and friend, (affectionately known as the City Mouse to her Country Mouse), Jacqueline Battle Tillman, preceded her in death.
Family and friends served as active pallbearers and flower attendants.
Thornton’s Funeral Home was in charge.
