Mrs. Glenda Sellers Christian, 66

Mrs. Glenda Sellers Christian, age 66, of Baxley passed away April 12 at her residence under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.
Mrs. Christian was born Sept. 29, 1955, in Jeff Davis County to the late George Dewitt Sellers and the late Opal Howard Sellers. She was a member of Altamaha Baptist Church and was retired from 1st Franklin Financial after 43 years of service and was the assistant manager in the last few years of service. Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Sellers, nephew Brian Reynolds and brother-in-law, Charles Kight.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Christian of Baxley; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Vanessa Christian and Kevin Walls both of Baxley; sisters and brother-in-law, Wilene Kight of Baxley and Sheri and Micah Yandell of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and sister-in-law, Margaret Sellers of Baxley; grandchildren, Kolby Walls and Kaden Walls.
Services were held April 15 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Yawn and the Rev. Ryan Lamb officiating. Intermentwas in Altamaha Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Tim Howard, Brandon Sellers, Wayne Miles, Cecil Veal, Dwain Sellers and Daren Sellers.
Honorary pallbearers were Hospice of South Georgia, Beverly Crosby, Debi Hendrix, 1st Franklin staff, Sharon McDonald, Robbie Davis, Lisa Stone, Kay Williamson, Cecile Griffin, Brenda Webb and Bela Caldwell.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Georgia (1625 Sunset Blvd. Jesup, Georgia 31545).
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
