Mr. William (Bill) Lamar Clements, 66, of Hazlehurst, died Feb. 25.
Mr. Clements was born in Telfair County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Lee Clements and Lula Mae Dyal Clements Spivey, and sister and brother-in-law, Shirley (Bernard) Spivey.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Carpenter and attended The Church of God. He enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar, loved his family dearly and spending time with them, especially the grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Clements of Hazlehurst; sons, Tony (Felicia) Clements of Fitzgerald, Terry (Denise) Clements of Hazlehurst and Jerry (Jessie) Clements of Uvalda; honorary sons, Josh (Shameka) Lilliott of Hazlehurst and Aaron (Joni) Lilliott of Hazlehurst; honorary brother, Terrell Register of Hazlehurst; brothers, James “Shorty” Clements of Oak Park, Michael Kelly “PeeWee” Clements of Lyons and Charles Shepherd of Lyons; sisters Shelia Clements Copeland of Lyons and Sandra Nino of Lyons; step-father, Williard “Gid” Spivey of Lyons; grandchildren, Ashley (Jordan) Cason, Jayden Clements, Kaige Clements, Clarissa (Clay) Lott, Lily Clements, Abbigail Clements, Alicia Lilliott, Cassidy Lilliott, Jordyn Lilliott, Jalen Brown and honorary Jennifer Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Jackson, Jett, Ryker, Huxley and Hogan; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held March 3 at Riverside Cemetery with Jimmie Ryles speaking and the Rev. Hal Jeffcoat officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobbie Lillott, Ricky Lilliott and Jimmie Ryles.
Active pallbearers were Terrell Register, Ricky Dyal, Larry Rentz, Darrell Johnson, Clay Lott and Zachary Porter.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
