Mr. ‘Tony’ Truitt Anthony Blewer, 61
Mr. “Tony” Truitt Anthony Blewer, 61, of Baxley, passed away April 15 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mr. Blewer was born Jan. 13, 1961, in Charleston, S.C. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, David A. and Gladys W. Blewer and Daniel Joseph and Dorothy N. McLendon.
Tony had a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering but most of his life he has been a Quality Control Manager for Government Construction. In his younger days he loved golf, Nascar and hunting.
He was a huge fan of Clemson Tigers and always enjoyed watching the games. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and especially his wife that he loved dearly.
Survivors include his wife Bonita Taylor Blewer of Baxley; sons, Truitt A. Blewer Jr. “Tab” of Orangeburg, S.C., and Chase Sutton (Erika) of Senoia; daughters, Jennifer Sutton of Hazlehurst and Ryan Carroll of Clemson, S.C; father and mother, David Truitt and Mary Ellen (McLendon) Blewer; mother-in-law, Mary Sue Montford; sister, Nancy Blewer Salomon (Mikael) of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Ansley Grace Blewer, Anyston Jones, Zayne Jones, Zander Jones, Maddux Sutton, Jaxson Carroll and Sutton Carroll; niece, Ava Salomon and nephew Alec Salomon.
Graveside services were held April 18 in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery with Christina Montford giving a eulogy.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
