Mr. Drew Herrington, 74

Mr. Drew Herrington, 74, of Baxley died April 8 at Oxley Park Health Rehab in Lyons.
Mr. Herrington was born July 10, 1947, in Appling County to the late Drewey Steeley “D.S.” Herrington and the late Lillian Dunn. He was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church and was retired from Hazlehurst Mills. Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Herrington and step-father, L.E. “Mutt” White.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Herrington; sisters, Sabra Roberts and Phyllis Hall; brothers, Edward White and Bobby White; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 11 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Wigley and the Rev. Doug Weisel officiating.
Interment followed in Zoar Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Ricky Hall, Caleb White, Edward White, Bobby White, Jay Roberts, Galen Davis, Sabra Roberts and Kip Wainwright.
Honorary pallbearers were The Agape Sunday School Class of Southside Baptist Church and Hazlehurst Mills Beaming Department.
Music was rendered by Karen Davis and a recording by Brandon Herrington.
