Ms. Penny Ray McLoon, 57

Ms. Penny Ray McLoon, 57, of Glenwood, passed away Feb. 10 at her residence.
Ms. McLoon was born Jan. 30, 1965, in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her patents, Oliver Ray and Opal Cerise Griffin Ray, brothers, Danny Ray and Larry Ray.
Ms. McLoon was formerly employed with Jeff Davis Hospital as a nurse. She was a member of Union Spring Baptist Church. Ms. McLoon loved bird watching, spending time with family and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Bridges (Robert) of Glenwood; sisters, Christine Stanley (Charlie) of Denton, Deborah Norman of Denton; grandson Kevin Kidd of Glenwood.
Graveside services were held Feb. 14 in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Williams officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge.
