Ms. Mary Williams, 82

Ms. Mary Williams, 82, of Lumber City, passed away Feb. 2 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Ms. Williams was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Laurens County.
Ms. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, James Travis White and Myrtle Turner Arrington, husband Willie Thomas Williams, son Bennie Livingston, daughter Joyce Colter, brothers Clyde White, Ned White, Raymond White, Fred White, Herschel White, sisters Imogene Scott and Alice Livingston. She was retired from Lumber City Egg Marketers and was a member of Lumber City Church of God. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking and taking care of her family. She loved her children, her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include sons, Sidney Livingston (Linda) of Dublin, Tommy Williams (Susie) of Hazlehurst, Jerry Williams (Marie) of North Carolina and Rex Williams (Angle Jones) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Betty Barbee (Frank) of Dublin and Elaine Dixon (Sam) of Hazlehurst; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 4 at Lumber City Church of God with the Rev. David Deen and the Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
