Mrs. Linda Jones, 74

Mrs. Linda Jones, 74, of Hazlehurst, died Feb. 17 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born May 19, 1947, in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Sandiford, Magalene Smith Sandiford, sister-in-law, Barbara Wood, brother-in-law, Wayne Jones. She was employed with Jeff Davis County School System and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She enjoyed fishing, cross stitch, spending time with grandkids and family but her most pride and joy was being married to Mr. B.J. for 58 years and being each other’s support system.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. B.J. Jones of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Lisa Jones of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Jimmy Disharoon of Hazlehurst; brother-in-law, Hershal Jones; sisters-in-law, Alice Wilcox, Debbie Quinn, and Fillis Branch; grandchildren Spencer Disharoon, Keagan Disharoon, Wade Jones and Mitch Jones; great-grandchildren, Kirsten Jones, Zoey Jones, Mikelynn Jones, Hayden Disharoon, Rylie Disharoon, Aubrie Disharoon, Kase Disharoon, and Jayton Miles.
Services were held Feb. 22 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Deek Dubberly officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Spencer Disharoon, Wade Jones, Mitch Jones, Roger Ogilvie, Kegan Disharoon and Kase Disharoon.
Music was rendered by the Rev. Jeffery Spell.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
