Mr. James Chancelor Harper, 30

Mr. James Chancelor Harper, 30, of Hazlehurst, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 22.
Chance was born March 5, 1991, in Macon. He is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Ann Harrison, grandfather Pickett Harrison, grandmother Naythine Harper, uncles Terry Harper, Clint Harper and Aunt Christy Harper.
He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He had a passion for all things outdoors. He enjoyed nothing better than the thrill of a good hunt or spending the day at the river reeling in the perfect catch with his best friends. He also loved spending time with his family and playing with his nephew, Triston.
Chance will be most remembered for his love of family and friends, generous and caring heart and his beautiful, infectious smile.
Survivors include his father Darrell Harper of Hazlehurst; sisters Kayla Harper Sellers of South Carolina and Taylor Harper of Hazlehurst; nephew Triston Sellers; grandmother Mary Harrison of Hazlehurst; uncles Lance Harrison and Ricky Harper of Hazlehurst; aunts Teresa Harrison Coleman (Warren) of Hazlehurst and Rebecca Harper Dennig (Tom) of Tallahassee, Fla.; several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
A celebration of life was held Jan. 27 at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
