Mr. George A. Brooks, 76

Mr. George A. Brooks, 76, of Hazlehurst, died Dec. 29 at his residence.
Mr. Brooks was born March 26, 1945, in Anniston, Ala.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Brooks and Frances Estelle Truett Norris, step-father, Dence Floyd, brothers, Walter Jones and Roy Floyd, sisters, Dorothy Adams Gulvin, Ethel Adams Spradley, Louise Adams Rowland, and Betty Floyd Rentz.
Survivors include special friend, Aida Hicks of Hazlehurst; brother, Ray Adams of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Jan. 3 in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Carter officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
