Jeff Davis Will Move To Region 1-AA

In a meeting Monday, the Georgia High School Association Executive Committee finally made it official — Jeff Davis High School will be a member of Region 1-AA for the 2022-2024 school years.
This year’s Region 2-AA, of which Jeff Davis has been a member for decades, was changed dramatically by the latest realignments. Jeff Davis was moved to 1-AA, Toombs County and Vidalia were moved to 3-AA, and Swainsboro, Bacon County, East Laurens and Woodville-Tompkins all moved down to Class A.
With the move to 1-AA, Jeff Davis joins Berrien, Cook, Dodge County, Fitzgerald, Sumter County and Worth County.
