Mr. Kenneth Wayne (Jack) Morris, 78

Mr. Kenneth Wayne (Jack) Morris, 78, of Hazlehurst, died Dec. 9 at his residence.
Mr. Morris was born Aug. 18, 1943, in Wayne County.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dan Morris and Alice Morris, brothers, Alton Morris, Verlon Morris, Larry Morris, sister, Mary Alice Kirkland. He was retired from Amoco Mills. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting, but he especially loved spending time with his family and eating ice cream with his great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hand Morris, of Hazlehurst; daughters, Lisa Stone (Ricky) of Baxley and Tammy Daniel (Richard) of Hazlehurst; brother, Pete Morris of Hazlehurst; grandsons, Josh Stone (Samantha) and Austin Daniel; great-grandson, Jax Stone; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Dec. 13 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Hutcheson and the Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Interment followed in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Harrison C. Carter and staff and all family and friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Blake Morris, Eugene Hand, Jr. Sharpe, Stacey Edwards, Cade Edwards and Richard Nix.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
