Mr. John Comas Quinn, 63

Mr. John Comas Quinn, 63, of Hazlehurst, died Dec. 26 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Quinn was born Feb. 25, 1958, in Chatham County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Laydell Quinn and Minnie Olga Ellis Quinn, and sister, Joan Quinn Simmons. He chose truck driving with Karen to provide for his family, along with his two partners in crime, Buster and Sweet Pea. He enjoyed spending time with his two daughters and his two grandchildren. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and living the simple man life.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Weeks of Hazlehurst; daughters, Krystal Solomon (Ronnie) of Hazlehurst and Felicia Spires (Jamie) of McRae; grandchildren, Trinity Miller and Layton Spires; nephew, Van Simmons.
Graveside services were held Dec. 29 in Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth White officiating.
Active pallbearers were Van Simmons, Ronnie Soloman and Jamie Spires.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
