Mr. James Edward Moon, 83

Mr. James Edward Moon, 83, of Hazlehurst, died Oct. 28 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Mr. Moon was born April 15, 1938, in Jeff Davis County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Tribble Moon, Bertie Adrian Overstreet, siblings, Benjamin Donald Moon, Carolyn Jenelle Moon, Samuel Lewis Moon, Betty Ruth Hartless, Bobby Terell Moon and Mary Joan Ford. He previously attended The Sunshine Center in Baxley, he loved to listen to country and gospel music, and loved to watch TV.
Survivors include his sister, Linda Prichett of Hazlehurst; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Yawn and the Rev. Denny Waters officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Elizabeth Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Moon.
