Mr. Tim Kent Parlor, 61

Mr. Tim Kent Parlor, 61, of Baxley passed away Oct. 3 at his residence.
Mr. Parlor was born March 2, 1960, in Appling County to the late Vasco Parlor and the late Mary Ellen Carter Parlor. He was a truck driver for 38 years with Williams Brothers Trucking and was preceded in death by his brother, George Parlor, and sister, Levenia Beecher.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Parlor of Baxley; daughters, Michaela Cleveland and Ashley Merritt both of Baxley; sons, Jamie Parlor of Hazlehurst and Jesse Alldredge of Baxley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wendell Griffin, Harry and Joan Griffin, Randall and Cathy Branch, Cecil and Karen Griffin, Richard Griffin, Tim and Sandy Griffin, Carlos and Julie Griffin, Mary Ellen Smith, Sarah and Ronnie Boatright, Janie Cummings, Debbie Branch and Carolyn and Mitchell McMillan; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Oct. 6 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Andrews, the Rev. Joe Ferguson and the Rev. Mark Grimes officiating.
Interment followed in Carter Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Harry Griffin, Carlos Griffin, Richard Griffin, Roger Williams, Lonnie Weaver, Steven Creech, Lamar Williams, Hubert Williams, Robert Baker and Hunter Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Beasley Forest Product, employees of WBT, Wendell and Elizabeth Crosby, Gene and Wendy Thompkins, Mike and Teresa Hall, Richie and Heather Altman and all family and friends in attendance.
Music was rendered by Candice Branch White.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
