Mr. Alfred Billy Taylor, 73

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Mr. Alfred Billy Taylor, 73, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Sept. 23. Services will be at 2p.m. Sept. 29 in Yawn Cemetery.
The Rev. Thomas Colter will officiate with military honors.
Mr. Taylor was born in Bacon County. He was the son of the late Manuel Clifford Taylor and Rachel Mixon Taylor. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children Johnnie Faye Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a marine, a Mason and a retired electrician from Hazlehurst Mills.
Survivors include wife Nelly Taylor of Hazlehurst; sons and daughters-in-law Robert Taylor, Richard and Crystal Taylor, Randall and Kimberly Taylor all of Hazlehurst; step-daughters Catherine and Ailene; grandchildren Nikki, Kyle, Cheyanne, Kasen Rain, Zachary, Zoey, Gavin, Joni, Tanli, Tylan and William; seven step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Haily, Ian and Vivian; brother Clifford Manuel Taylor of Hortense; sister, Minnie Boyd of Alma.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at Yawn Cemetery, 248 Yawn Cemetery Road.
Active pallbearers will be Sidney Carter, Ray Partin, Charlie Anderson, Richard Taylor, Warren Coleman and Rocky Rollins.
