Mr. Cyril C. ‘Danny’ Remusat, 75

Mr. Cyril C. “Danny” Remusat III, 75 of Baxley, died Aug. 5 in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Remusat was born Dec. 27, 1945, in Orlando, Fla., and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Cyril C. Remusat Jr.; son, Johnny Dewayne Sikes; paternal grandparents Cyril C. Remusat Sr. and Frances Cecelia Remusat; and maternal grandparents, Jay Thomas and Janie E. Thomas.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Sandra C. Remusat of Baxley; daughter, Connie Ann Remusat of Indianapolis, Ind.; sons and daughter-in-law, Clifton Daniel Remusat of Orlando, Fla., and Timothy W. and Renee Sikes of Baxley; mother, Frances L. Sherman of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Priscilla L. Blackburn of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 11 in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Yawn, the Rev. Ashley Tyree, and Donnie Rowland officiating. Interment was in Palms Memorial Gardens in Hazlehurst.
Active pallbearers were Adrian Carelock, Chad Carelock, Thomas Lightsey, Shane Lightsey, Scott Carter, and Robert Herrin.
Honorary pallbearers were William Carelock, Roy Davis, Coby Carelock, Charles Carelock, Eddie Runnels, Travis Rowland, all grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all friends in attendance.
Music was rendered by Travis Reynolds.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
