Mr. Ralph Googe, 77

Mr. Ralph Googe, 77, of Hazlehurst, died Aug. 5 at his residence.
Mr. Googe was born May 13, 1944 in Jeff Davis County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Oneal Googe and Alma Oberry Googe and several sisters and brothers. He was a retired salesman and part co-owner of Googe Brothers Inc. In his spare time he loved fishing, wood working, mechanicing and keeping his yard manicured. He was a member of Philadelphia Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife DyAne Warrick Googe of Hazlehurst; daughters, Heather A. Googe of Marietta and Heidi A. Googe of Marietta; brother, Thomas (Mary) Googe of Jonesboro; sister, Robinette Googe Williams of Smyrna; sister-in-law, Carolyn Googe (Larry) of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held August 9 at Philadelphia Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Sanes, the Rev. John Sanes and Jimmy Ryles officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Googe, Jerry Googe, Jeffrey Googe, Jason Googe, Jason Best, Jonathan Best.
Honorary pallbearers were Jamie Jones, Justin Jones, Mickey Best and Jimmy Jones.
