Mr. Bobby Ray Kirkland, 57

Mr. Bobby Ray Kirkland, 57, of McRae, died July 4 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Kirkland was born Jan. 31, 1964, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Darwin Kirkland, son, Jason Lee Kirkland and sister, Deborah Davis. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed with Beasley Timber Products but on his days off he enjoyed fishing and riding the golf cart with his pups.
Survivors include his life partner, Kimberly Brewer of McRae; sons, Matthew Kirkland (Melissa) of St. Augustine, Fla., and Dylan Kirkland of Hazlehurst; daughter, Amanda Washam (Justin) of Hazlehurst; mother, Mrs. Beverly Kirkland of Hazlehurst; brothers, Donnie Kirkland of Statesboro and Gary Kirkland (Angie) of McRae; grandchildren, Eagan Washam, David Ezra Kirkland, Aaron, Wyatt, Kaiden, Bentley, Sryinity and Addie Allred; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held July 8 at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Ashley Tyree officiating.
Active pallbearers were Brently Harris, Charles Heath, Willie Brewer, Justin Harrelson, Ryan Kirkland and Noel Garcia.
