Mr. Russell Silman, 43

Mr. Russell Silman, 43, of Hazlehurst, passed on Nov. 22, 2020, in Wrightsville.
Russell was born Aug. 1, 1977, to Mr. Clarance Russell Siman and Christina Spence in Charleston, W. Va. He attended Manatee County Schools in Bradenton, Fla. He later obtained his GED after relocating to Georgia.
Russell was a former employee of the McPherson Shoe Factory in Hazlehurst. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He enjoyed football and spending much of his time commercial fishing (long-lining).
Because love is far greater than we know, he leaves to cherish precious memories to his loving and devoted mother, Ms. Christina Spence of Hazlehurst; brother, Marcus (Barbie) Truax of Hazlehurst; sister, Donna Silman of Nitro, W. Va.; special friend, Ms. Kelly Davis of Bradenton, Fla.; uncle, Michael Truax of Hazlehurst; aunt, Cynthia (Larry) Puloski of Alpeo, Mich.; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will honor Mr. Silman’s wishes and final disposition was by cremation. Mr. Silman’s cremains will be set out to sea in the Gulf of Mexico.
