Members of the 2021 Jeff Davis High School state championship baseball team were honored at the annual awards banquet. Also feted were members of the jayvee and middle school team.
All-Region 2-AA players were 2021 Region 2-AA Baseball were, 1st Team — Cole Baucom, Matthew White and Ethan Griffin; 2nd Team — Cam Williams and Trenton Clance; Honorable Mention — Matthew Glass, Hamp Hayes and Cade Walters.
Team awards went to: Pride of the Jackets- Ethan Hulett, Defensive Player of the Year – Trenton Clance, Offensive Player of the Year – Hamp Hayes and Cade Walters, Quality at Bat Award – Hamp Hayes, Pitcher of the Year- Cole Baucom and Matthew White, Player of the Year – Hamp Hayes, Cade Walters, Cole Baucom and Matthew White.
Jayvee award winners were, Pride of the Jackets – Holden Ellis, Offensive Player of the Year – Ethan Griffin, Defensive Player of the Year – Alex Mason, Pitcher of the Year – Josh Griffin, Player of the Year – Carter Mullis.
Middle school Blue Team award winners were, Pride of the Jackets – Hayden King, Player of the Year – Andrew White, Pitcher of the Year – Eli Saunders, Carter Wooten, Jonathan Bohannon and Andrew White, Offensive Player of the Year – Carter Wooten, Defensive Player of the Year – Malachi Smith.
Middle school Gold Team awards went to, Pride of the Jackets – Treyton Webster and Andrew Hulett, Pitcher of the Year – Dawson Moser, Offensive Player of the Year – Ethan Baltazar and Reese Mullis, Defensive Player of the Year – Juan Pena and Karter Galbreath, Most Improved – Konner Munsayac.
