Mrs. Barbara Powell, 82

Mrs. Barbara Powell, 82, of Brunswick, died May 31 at her son’s residence.
Mrs. Powell was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Baxley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Della May, and son Johnny Johnson. Mrs. Powell retired from Amoco Fabrics, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, reading and her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Johnson of Dallas, Texas, and Jeff Johnson of Brunswick; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, and Marcus Johnson of Texas, Justin and Jordan Johnson of Brunswick; sister and brother-in-Law, Sandra and Leroy Reagan of Brunswick; brother and sister-in-law Greg and Debbie May; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Powell shall be forever loved and missed by many.
Visitation and services will be heldJune 10 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation begins at 1 p.m. and the service 2 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Reagan officiating.
Interment will follow in Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
