Mr. Donald John Rose, 88

Mr. Donald John Rose, 88, of Hazlehurst passed away at his residence May 18 after a short illness.
Born in Ontario County, N.Y., on March 1, 1933, to John Henry Rose and Frances Phalen Rose. His wife Patricia Lannon Rose preceded him in death.
He was highly educated and spent the majority of his career in the aviation industry.
Survivors include children, John William Rose (Mary K.) of Gotha, Fla., Kimberly R. Taylor (Jack M.) and Patricia R. Marks of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Sarina Rose, Amanda Chesser, Travis Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Justin Marks, Jessica Maurtua and Jori Kauffman; 10 great-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Kimmie Lavender and Baylee Starling.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
