Fire Department gets fire safety house

After two years of planning and obtaining funding, the Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County Fire Department was able to purchase an inflatable fire safety house.
The new tool will allow the department’s prevention team to teach children and adults about fire safety in the home and escape plans.
The department thanksCountry Financial, Farm Bureau, R&D Salvage and everyone who purchased Boston Butts from the department’s Thanksgiving fundraiser. The purchase would not be possible without that support.
