Mrs. Grace Evelyn Anderson, 77

Mrs. Grace Evelyn Anderson, 77, passed away March 26 at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Anderson was born March 16, 1944, in Baxley. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Hilton Lee Hesters and Mary Rentz Hesters, her husband, Homer Lamar Anderson, sisters, Dollie Mae Dyal and Dorothy Carter, brothers, William Hesters, Jack Hesters, Roger Dale Hesters and J.B. Hesters and great-granddaughter, Haley Braddy. She was of the Baptist faith and will always be remembered as a great cook.
She is survived by her children, Chris Anderson of Metter, Danny (Angie) Anderson, Richard (Lenora) Anderson, Shirley (Joel) Poe, Elaine (Doug) Braswell and Melissa Wilson all of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Jordan Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Justin Anderson, Jarrett Anderson, Jamie Braddy, Lolita Weiner, Caitlin Lytle, Brogan Poe, Gary Braswell, Anthony Anderson and Shelby Wilson; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held March 29 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Wigley and the Rev. Don Dixon officiating.
Active pallbearers were Glenn Floyd, Wendell Floyd, Gary Braswell and Jarrett Anderson.
