Ms. Chaceman Monite Wells, 38
A celebration of love for Ms. Chaceman Monite Wells, who died Feb. 27 at Lumber City Nursing Home, was held on the grounds of King Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation Chapel in Hazlehurst with the Rev. Earl Smith bring words of comfort. Burial was private.
Ms. Wells was born March 23, 1982, to the late Mrs. Sylvia Lenail Wells and Mr. David Henry Wells Sr. She was a graduate of Wheeler County High School, Class of 2000. Monite went on to further her education at Southeastern Technical College as she received her CNA Certification in 2007. She was faithfully employed at Lumber City Nursing Home, until her health began to fail.
At a young age, she began attending Starlight Missionary Baptist Church in Glenwood.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Sylvia Lenail Wells and maternal grandparents, Roy Lee and Sallie Lou Mackey who raised her as their daughter.
Survivors include daughter, Meori Wells of Alamo; father, David Henry Wells Sr. of Jesup; brother, David Henry Wells Jr. of Mt. Vernon; aunt, Elizabeth Ann Allen of Alamo; uncles, Charlie (Jeannette) Mackey and Roy Lee Mackey Jr. of Alamo; cousins who she loved as brothers Kelly Mackey of Hazlehurst, Stacey King of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Michael Clark of San Bernardino, Calif.; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, special cousins, loving family members and friends.
