Gibbs Will Lead Chamber
Grace Gibbs, branch manager at Interstate Credit Union in Hazlehurst, will take over the Chamber of Commerce Chairman position at the Chamber Annual Event March 20.
Grace is a hometown girl who was raised in Snipesville. She is married to Marvin Gibbs and they have two children, Faith (13) and Ethan (11). Grace is an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and serves at the secretary-treasurer of the Hazlehurst Rotary Club.
Grace has served over 15 years in the financial services and consumer lending business. She specializes in mortgage lending. “Anyone who knows me knows how much I love what I do,” says Grace. “I enjoy serving my local community and being there for others when they need my help or advice. I believe in being good to others and treating them like I would want to be treated. This has always contributed to my success in my career.”
Grace believes that the Chamber is vital to the growth and success of Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County. “I definitely want to support the Chamber and be a part of that as much as I can,” said Grace. “I have served on the board of directors and our executive board for several years, and I am looking forward to serving in the Chair position this year. I hope to work with the Chamber to continue to help our community thrive and be successful.”
