Mr. Anthony Karl Brown, 47

Mr. Anthony Karl Brown, 47, of Hazlehurst, passed away Feb. 22 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Brown was born on Oct. 21, 1973, in Jackson, Mich., the son of Frank Horace Brown and Susan Kay Hamilton Kemplin. Mr. Brown worked as an electrician/millwright for Rayonier, Jesup, a member of Union IBEW Local and a member of Oakview Baptist Church, Hazlehurst.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Marion Denning, John Karl Hamilton and Horace and Erma Brown, also a half-brother, Coty Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Lee Brown of Hazlehurst; sons, Brandon Karl Brown (Paige) of Hazlehurst and Michael Christopher Brown of Hazlehurst; sister, Michelle Wood (Daniel) of Keene, Texas; step-sisters, Jerri Anne Johnson of Broxton, Pamela Corsa (Tommy) of Blue Ridge and Christine Nichols (Don) of Jackson, Mich.; step-brother, Donnie Kemplin of Jackson, Mich.; mother, Susan Kemplin (Donnie) of Macon; father, Frank Brown (Frances) of Broxton; in-laws, Dale and Lou Merritt of Wray; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services were held Feb. 25 Bethany Holiness Baptist Church, Ambrose, with the Rev. Rob Merritt officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Harrison, Brandon Brown, Michael Brown, Bruce Kinnard Jr., Don Kinnard and Bruce Kinnard Sr. Honorary pallbearers were personnel from Rayonier.
