Mr. Jeff Hardee, 46

Mr. Jeff Hardee, 46, of Baxley passed away Dec. 31 at Appling Healthcare System.
Mr. Hardee was born March 16, 1974, in Augusta. He was a carpenter by trade for many years and worked as a homebuilder with his dad for 10 years. He was also employed at Hazlehurst Mills. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Bonell Hall and his paternal grandfather, William Edward Hardee Sr.
Survivors include sons, Tripp Hardee, Riley Hardee, and Tyler Hardee, all of Baxley; parents, Bill and Becky Hardee,Jr. of Midway; sister, Amy Carter of Baxley; brother Josh Zacher of South Carolina; grandmother, Shirley Hardee of Baxley; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held Jan. 3 at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Brazzell and the Rev. Kenny Hutcheson officiating.
Active pallbearers were Riley Hardee, Josh Zacher, Chris Meeks, Tony Merritt, Evan Merritt, and Patrick Merritt.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of 1993 of Appling County High School.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
