Mr. Cory Christopher Bohannon, 36

Mr. Cory Christopher Bohannon, 36, passed away Dec. 11 in Hazlehurst.
Mr. Bohannon was born July 20, 1984, in Coffee County. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Leon E. Crawford, grandfather, D.L. Griffin and grandmother, Julia Jacobs. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was employed by Hazlehurst Wood Pellets. He loved his mom, family and music, but his greatest love was his son, Alex, who he spent countless hours with playing video games.
He is survived by son, Alexander “Alex” Reese Bohannon of Hazlehurst; mother, Cindy Griffin Crawford of Hazlehurst; brother, Josh (Amy) Bohannon, Winterville; and maternal grandmother, Patsy Griffin of Hazlehurst.
Graveside services were held Dec. 18 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Hulett and the Rev. Dustin Hutto officiating.
Pallbearers will be Justin Griffin, Chris Burkett, Wesley Dominy, J.A. Sellers, Kyle Hosmer and Danny Carver Jr.
