Mr. Way Hutchinson, 94

Mr. Way Hutchinson, 94, of Baxley died Dec. 10 at Appling Healthcare System.
Mr. Hutchinson was born May 16, 1926, in Appling County to the late William Hutchinson and the late Jennie Carter Hutchinson. He was a retired carpenter, a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church, and an avid fox hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Mae King Hutchinson, daughter, Clara Vickers and sons, Johnny Hutchinson and Wadis Hutchinson.
Survivors include his grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson, Jayme Hutchinson, Del Burns, James Burns; great-grandchildren, Dustin Hutchinson, Hope Hutchinson, Haven Hutchinson, William Causey, Ethan Burns, Collins Burns and Nicole Burns; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service was held Dec. 13 at Spring Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chip Woodruff, the Rev. Rick Brown and the Rev. Tommy Daniels officiating. Interment was in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Bub Moody, Ray Boatright, Danny Anderson, Darvan Freeman, Andy Atkins and Eric Temple.
Honorary pallbearers were the King family, the extended Hutchinson family and his hunting crew.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
