Mrs. Betty Long, 71

Mrs. Betty Long, 71, of Douglas, passed away Dec. 4.
Mrs. Long was born on April 28, 1949, in Coffee County, the daughter of the late LeeRoy Taylor and Elsie Nora Mobley Taylor. She worked as a loan officer with First Franklin Financial and was member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dani Lynn Sears.
Survivors include daughters, Amy Sears of Hazlehurst and Kim Moore (Bryan) of Douglas; sisters, Miriam Corbitt (Ken) of Broxton and Teresa Burke (George) of Wray; brother, Glenn Taylor (Regina) of Wray; grandchildren, Blake Moore, Ansley Miller and Dalton Sears; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services were held Dec. 6 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Tracy Burke officiating. Interment followed at Taylor Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bryan Moore, Tracy Burke, Blake Moore, Logan Miller, Hunter Taylor and Walker Taylor.
