Mrs. Betty Hand, 58

Mrs. Betty Hand, 58, of Hazlehurst, passed away Nov. 30 at her residence.
Graveside services were held Dec. 2 at Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery withthe Rev. Glenn Selph officiating.
Mrs. Hand was born Jan. 9, 1962, in Rantoul, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton Edward Williams and Ruth Boyer Graham, father-in-law, Grady F. Hand and mother-in-law, Beatrice Hand. She was a homemaker who loved and cared deeply for her family. Her favorite pastime was loving on her grandbabies, making memories with her husband and sister trips. There are so many wonderful things that could be said about her, but room does not allow it.
She is survived by her husband, Lucian D. Hand; son, Timothy (Alexandria) Hand; daughters, Rose (Tim) Hayes and Dawn (Lonnie) Bryant; sisters, Eva (Billy) Hiers and Nadine Graham; brothers, Robert Williams and David Williams; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Little Bennie Calhoun, James Herman Selph, Danny Wade Selph, London Dukes, Robert Earl Arnold, Gregory Bowling and Danny Hesters.
Miles Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge.
