Mr. Brett Turner, 56

Mr. Brett Turner, 56, of Hazlehurst died Nov. 8 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.
Mr. Turner was born March 17, 1964, in Jeff Davis County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Turner and Betty Bohannon Turner, sister, Lanna Beecher. He loved fishing, Nascar and computers. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and church family.
He was formerly employed with Amercord and a member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his aunt and caregiver, Judy Bohannon of Hazlehurst; brother-in-law and wife, George and Tina Beecher of Hazlehurst; cousin, Jason (George) Bohannon of Hazlehurst; nephew, Kyle Beecher of Hazlehurst; great-nephew, Kayden Beecher of Hazlehurst and great-niece, Kaylie Carter of Hazlehurst; step-niece, Kristen McCoy of Hilliard, Fla.; step-nephews, Robert McCoy of Blackshear and Wesley McCoy of Cordele; several cousins.
Graveside services were held Nov. 13 at Palms Memorial Garden with the Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.
Active pallbearers were John Reed, John Elton, James Crump, John Ramey, Jason Harris, Jim Howard and Keith Osborne.
