Mr. Dewayne Douglas Wright, 80

Mr. Dewayne Douglas Wright, 80, passed away Oct. 24 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.
Mr. Wright was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Elizabeth, N.J.; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Dewayne Wright Jr. and Edna Tracy Wright and a sister, Elaine Wright. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the United States Navy. He was of the Apostolic faith, who loved the Lord with all of his heart. He has made his home in Florida and Pennsylvania but for the past two years he has been transitioning his home to Georgia, where he intended to spend all his time with beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Jimmy) Watkins of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Kyle (Mandi) Krafczyk, Kailee Krafczyk, Keith Krafczyk and Kylie Krafczyk; great-grandchildren, Lake Krafczyk, Lyle Krafczyk Asher Krafczyk and Kase Krafczyk; sister, Jacqueline Bonsignore-Lilly of Texas; friend, Linda Jackson of Orange Park, Fla.; and nieces and nephew
Graveside services were held Oct. 28 at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Hulett officiating.
