Vets Looking For New Names

Applications for veteran names to be added to the monument this Veterans Day are now being accepted.
If you are a veteran and have a Jeff Davis County connection you are entitled to have your name engraved on the Jeff Davis Count veterans’ monument at Veterans Square Park in Hazlehurst.
The seven stones depict names of veterans who served from World War I up to the War on Terror.
To add a name, obtain an application from the Chamber of Commerce office located in The Big House.
Mail applications to P.O. Box 263 Hazlehurst, GA 31539 before the deadline of Oct. 31.
